Mentoring with Ian Smith (UK), president & chair of the board, European Music Council
When working at the UK Musicians' Union, Ian Smith was involved in all collective agreements for UK orchestras and ensembles with personal responsibilities for Scotland and Ireland. As president of the EMC, he is increasingly involved in lobbying for the European Copyright Directive and will share the most recent updates from that process.
