Janneke Staarink (The Netherlands), de Doelen

Since Keychange launched in 2017, 150+ festivals from across the world have signed up to a 50:50 gender balance pledge for 2022. Keychange partners are now opening the pledge to any kind of music organisation that wants to demonstrate its commitment towards a more equal and inclusive music sector. This session will feature brief provocations from representatives of conservatoires, orchestras and concert halls who’ve decided to sign the pledge followed by a workshop that will give everyone the chance to brainstorm their excitements, concerns and practical tips on achieving gender equity in the workplace and on stage.
