Festival Le voci dell’anima (Voices of the Soul). Occidente Oriente (East, West) – Bari, Italy
Some of the top artists on the Italian and international scene explored the topic of the links between music and spirituality – the churches of Bari were the setting for concerts by solo musicians and groups from various different countries, giving voice to the multiple outlooks expressed by the three great monotheistic religions.
Over the years, a musical journey took shape, founded on the conviction that Bari acts as a crossroads at the centre of the Mediterranean, where we can challenge the fallacy that the differences between East and West must necessarily lead to conflict.
