In 2004, a group of friends from Recife appeared proposing regional music mixed with “Cordel” poetry. The band named Fim de Feira tries to make shorter the distance between seaside and countryside of Brazil.

The band has as relevant aspects of it work the reinvention of traditional and roots rhythms from northeast of Brazil like “Baião”, “Coco”, “Xote” and “Samba”, played in a happy and divested way.

Fim de Feira’s music has a different and new interpretation that put together the urban and rural in an universal scenery. The band has its music inspiration on Chico Buarque, Tom Zé, Tropicalistas, Edu Lobo and Beatles songs. And also poetry inspiration on João Cabral de Melo Neto, Manoel Filó, Pinto do Monteiro João Guimarães Rosa and Paulo Lemiski work.
