Julie et moi is a Paris-based band of 4, formed by the accordeonist/singer/songwriter Julie Lenormand and Stephane Danielides on helicon. Completed with guitar, banjo and percussion they create a mixture of french chanson with strong influences of the rhythms of La Reunion as well as african and latin american influences.The poetic lyrics Julie sings mostly with dark voice and also integrates well into their French Creole songs. By wonderful set melodic counterpoints, it creates this music build playfully intense moods and to transfer them to different locations.
