Maher Cissoko was born to be a kora player in the world famous Cissoko family. Sousou Cissoko fell in love with the kora at an early age and she is now one of few female kora players in the world. "Their live performances distinguishes by compassion, virtuoso kora playing, groovy rhythms, beautiful singing and strong charisma."
Together they have performed in Swedish national television TV4 and SVT2. They have also performed alongside artists like Amadou & Mariam in Stockholm City Concert Hall and with Toumani Diabate in St George's Cathedral in Cape Town.
