Three years after his first album 'Cruel Summer' Erzatz comes back, transformed.

Erzatz explores on this album landscapes more folk, minimal, but staying electronic and abstract. Méian (new album) would be the meeting between Haïkus and texts from Brel or Bukowski.

If we still feel melancholy, it is now sweet, bright, firm. Using rifts and breaks, Céline's voice plays with the contrast of an almost spoken singing, husky, but also smooth, like she finally accepts the lost illusions she tells.

The subjects are intimate: homesickness for Takeshi, anxiety for Céline, and for both the difficulty to live human relationships, like a continuous dissonance between oneself and others.

This contrast permanent between the rough text and the melodic work is an open door to another possibility, the acceptation maybe of this eternal paradox: the bittersweet taste of life.
