Sysmo is the ultimate shoot of rhythm and transe. A raw and powerful performance delivered by an alive drum machine, a percussion orchestra hooked up to a conductor's gestures. He's the DJ. No machines. A language of more than 100 signs is the conductor's realtime composing tool. Filters, Delays, Breaks, Risers, Effects, Cuts, Loops, etc., all performed in realtime by an acoustic ensemble.
Sysmo is a unique, warm and stirring concept, impacting today's dancefloor with a modern music, rooted into ancient and actuel rhythms and embarking the crowd into a highly physical party time, deep, primitive and addictive.
For many of his shows, the collective invites guests musicians, sharing a moment of an improvised piece with them, that might be inspired by the artist's repertoire.
