The LABESS group which means “all is well” in Arabic, invites you to discover the beauty and the richness of its music. Fusion of gypsy rumba, flamenco and traditional music from North Africa such as Gnawa and Chaabi.
Whether he sings in Arabic, his mother tongue, in French or Spanish, Nedjim Bouizzoul tells in his expressive voice stories marked with authenticity that oscillate between realism and hope, gentleness and fury. He sings of exile by retracing the joys and distresses that dot the journey from the land of origin to the land of welcome, and vice versa. Through his poetry, he offers a reflection on cultural diversity and on the need to live united, despite differences.
