We are excited to announce that the modern Finnish folk band TSUUMI SOUND SYSTEM is a winner of the 2009 JUST PLAIN FOLKS AWARDS in the category "best instrumental jazz song" for their track "Casino" on their HOTAS album (Aito Records, 2007).
New TSS album "Growing Up" is out now.
The Just Plain Folks Music Awards were started in 1999 as a simple way to recognize the best music submitted by members. JPF Founder Brian Austin Whitney felt the music made by the "other 98%" of the music world often ignored by the mainstream televised music awards shows deserved its own recognition.
