Fide Köksal was born in Izmir, Turkey.
She started her singing career in Greece and Turkey in 2006, collaborating with acclaimed composers Mimis Plessas and Nikos Kypourgos, and singers George Dalaras, Maria Farantouri, George Perris, Pantelis Thalassinos, Savina Yannatou, Haig Yazdjian and others.
She also acted in the 2008 TV series "Matomena Homata" performing two songs of Vassilis Dimitriou in her own lyrics.
In 2010, she recorded the album "BRIDGES", in which she wrote Turkish lyrics and performed ten songs of the famous Greek composer Mimis Plessas.
In her debut solo album, titled “BÜYÜ”, released by EMI, all lyrics were written by Fide in Turkish, Greek and English, in music of Mimis Plessas, Yiotis Kiourtsoglou, Nikos Kypourgos, Armenak Markosyan, Nassos Sopilis, as well as Fide herself.
Her second album “MEŞK” includes songs of Ara Dinkjian, Evanthia Remboutsika, Nassos Sopilis and herself, in her own lyrics.
