The guitar player Jesse Cook (Toronto) likes to fuse different styles of music from different regions of the world: flamenco, rumba, but also rock, pop and classical.
Inspired, of course, by Nico Reyes, the guitarist of the Gypsy Kings (his father's neighbor when Jesse lived in France), but also by Peter Gabriel, Paco de Lucia, Buena Vista Social Club and Al Di Meola, Jesse Cook is into music that provides a common ground for different traditions, a space where music from all historical periods and parts of the world can mix.
