Arpa Flamenca

The harp embraces Flamenco. Ana Crismán freely explores the possibilities of this instrument and approaches a Flamenco repertoire in it’s traditional forms: Tientos, Tangos, Soleá, Alegrías, Bulerías, Seguiriyas, Rondeñas, Granaínas .... She performs as a soloist and accompanying the flamenco singing or cante. The harpist develops new techniques in a self-taught way, turning the harp into a flamenco instrument. Every Flamenco musical form is found through the harp, with a particular expressiveness and jondura or ‘depth’. Becoming a purely flamenco language, this instrument leads a groundbreaking path. Besides, Ana Crismán Arpa Flamenca collaborates with known artists from different musical trends, such as Jorge Pardo, Pablo Carmona, etc.
