Accordion experimenter Tuulikki Bartosik, a versatile musician and songwriter, weaves nature, life stories, and the warmth of humanity into her creations. Her innovative, fresh, and vivid originals draw comparisons to neoclassical master Eric Satie and minimalist icon Philip Glass. Using the acoustic free bass accordion, Estonian zither, vocals and electronics, Tuulikki prompts reflection on life's deeper layers.

Her latest album, "PLAYSCAPES," released worldwide on January 21, 2023, in digital and limited exclusive snow-white 12" vinyl, has garnered acclaim for its groundbreaking compositions, captivating soundscapes, and unique instrumentation. Her music is described as raw and authentic, evoking profound emotions and delving into the depths of life. "PLAYSCAPES" earned a place on Bandcamp's shortlist and was featured in the "Top of The World" selection in Songlines magazine's 23rd edition.

"Bartosik's beautiful phrasing, accordion, and kantele gracefully cut through the multimedia stream. Movement, interstice, and journey were visible themes of the compositions, intertwining in various directions alongside the music. At times, the sonic landscape evoked memories of Steve Reich's minimalist masterpiece "Music for 18 Musicians," while elsewhere, images were guided by the technoprimitivist clang of Kraftwerk's iconic "Trans-Europe Express." Nevertheless, a full audience was captivated by the unwavering flow of the uncompromising music."
