Busara Promotions works throughout East Africa, promoting and developing opportunities for musicians and cultural workers, and building networks for the artistic, social and economic growth of the region.

The main objectives of Busara Promotions are:

a) to promote and showcase music from all over the world, with special emphasis on Zanzibar, East Africa and the dhow region

b) to build capacities and employment opportunities for East African musicians, artists, technicians and cultural workers locally, regionally and internationally

Busara's main annual event is the Sauti za Busara music festival, taking place annually in Zanzibar during February. We also organise concerts and tours, seminars, workshops and artistic exchanges primarily to promote and build skills for artists and cultural workers from the East Africa region.
