Kololira is a band performing music based on traditional Croatian folk songs, mostly coming from books, but arranged in a contemporary manner. After performing with Dunja Knebl at the 34th EBU Folk Festival in Varna, Bulgaria as Dunja Knebl & Friends, they all decided to continue and named themselves Kololira (Croatian word for hurdy gurdy). Very soon they performed at Croatian and international folk music festivals. In 2013 they recorded their first album "Tamo doli", and made their first official video clip based on the single "Kad ja prodjem jednu goru". The album was praised by critics and one of the songs (Cula jesam) was included in the fRoots compilation beginning of 2014. "Tamo doli" was also in the World Music Charts Europe for 2 months in 2014. This year (2015) Kololira recorded their second album "I Mara i cvetje", released October.
