company description
The European Forum of Worldwide Music Festivals (EFWMF) is a network of independent festivals sharing the vision that the world is a patchwork of millions of local traditions and music, each different in contents yet equal in value. The members of the EFWMF firmly belief that getting to know these cultural varieties not only leads to exciting musical sensations, but also helps in understanding other peoples and their ways of life, thus defying any sort of racism or resurging nationalism. The EFWMF is open to all European festivals with a worldwide approach or at least a clear trans-national approach, that present music in the area of world, ethnic, traditional, folk and roots music. Within the network these festivals share artistic and other information, and develop various tools to support worldwide music.
You are welcome to meet the members at the EFWMF-stands A19, A20 and A21.
