The list of LBO’s accomplishments in the last two years is staggering. Their début album “Lume, Lume” has garnered a Juno nomination, Four Canadian Folk Music Awards nominations, and a SiriusXM Indie award nomination. They’ve travelled to Eastern Europe three times, playing in eight countries and sharing some of the largest festival stages on the continent with luminaries Marko Markovic, Shantel and the Bukovina Club Orkestar, Taraf De Haidouks, and Fanfare Ciocarlia. They’ve become local legends in their hometown of Toronto. They’ve gained worldwide media attention for a Youtube video of them playing onboard a delayed Air Canada flight, which racked up over 250,000 views in three days.
