A bit of geography for music lovers: the Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain (5.895 m) in Africa, situated on the border between Kenya and Tanzania.
That’s the reason why the group has chosen this name: the music of this Belgian/African group goes beyond all musical and natural borders.
The Kilimanjaro band brings a very swinging and varied repertoire (programme), from Soukous, Makossa, Highlife over Reggae to Afro-funk.
Their music stirs up the audience and brings it within no time in an African stun. The contact with the audience turns these gigs into one big party.
