Riobó is a folk quintet based in Galicia. The quintet, is immersed in the various possibilities of traditional instruments. Mixing folk/singer-songwriter music with roots music.
They Interpret songs to be listened to and inspired by at all times, in the most
danceable rhythms. They´re committed to Galician music and will continue to be
so for future albums.
In 2013 , among other concerts and festivals, Riobó was headlining the "Celtic World Music Festival of Ortigueira" , sharing the stage with main international bands.
In 2014 and 2015 Riobó Festivals performed at several concerts , among which was the Festival of Light , organised by Luz Casal in Boimorto.
They shared the stage with Kiko Veneno , Los Secretos and Quique González, among others. As
always , the energy , elegance and virtuosity of Riobó was the delight of an enthusiastic audience that ended dancing to their music.
