Portuguese traditional and folk music singer and multi-instrumentalist.
In 2005 starts her musical career professionally in the Galician group Luar na Lubre as main vocalist, where remains until 2011. Back in Portugal, she has since then developed several projects in the scope of folk, Celtic and traditional Portuguese music, either as a guest artist or as a member of the projects Espiral, A Presença das Formigas, Diabo a Sete, Cantos da Quaresma and Companhia do Canto Popular.
The year 2020 marks the debut in its own name, with the release of the first solo album “Matriz” to mark 15 years of a journey dedicated to the worldmusic in general and traditional Portuguese music in particular.
