Founded by Muammer Uzelli in 1977, Istanbul based company UZELLI serves the Turkish music industry across production, distribution and retail. The company was the Sony Music Turkey exclusive licensee and distributor from 1987-1992, when Sony Music established its regional office in Turkey. With over 900 album titles in its catalogue, Uzelli is a leading and well-established label in its own right. It has extended its strength in music to retail, and is currently operates one of the country's largest music retail chains. Uzelli is a founder-member of IFPI national group MU-YAP (Turkish Phonographic Industry Society. Uzelli is the international partner of 'The Orchard' and Metin Uzelli is the Regional Manager for Turkey.
