What does a Regsitration Include?
A WOMEX registration provides access to all WOMEX events, plus a 1-year membership to virtualWOMEX.
- A WOMEX registration gives you access to all WOMEX events including the Trade Fair, Conference, Films and Showcases.
- All delegates and companies registered by the Guide Rate deadline (payment receipt deadline!) will be listed in the printed WOMEX Guide handed out to all delegates as a year-round source of information.
- All delegates and companies registered for WOMEX 18 receive a one-year registration for the database and online platform virtualWOMEX. Exception: a student registration does not include a full virtualWOMEX account. After your registration is completed you will receive your account data in due course, no extra registration is necessary.
Good to Know
If you are a main WOMEX conference speaker or a WOMEX showcase artist representative you will receive a free registration. If not, you will have to pay like everybody else to join the party.
WOMEX is a strictly no-guest-list event, but we do try to keep our registration fees as low as possible. So if you plan to come, be smart and register early to keep your expenses to a minimum.
Fighting for funding (local, national, international, cultural or commercial) for your WOMEX visit is a good way to educate public and private structures that music is a major force in both global trade and cultural exchange; and hopefully it will add to your budget at the same time.
Information on Third Person Rate
When two people from the same company register at the full price, every person who registers as part of that same company thereafter receives a discount rate.
Information on Student Registration
We care about the next generation of music professionals! Therefore WOMEX offers a special student price of 150 euro + 3% IGIC subject to capacity. The ticket will be valid for all five days and is exclusively reserved for students who do not attend WOMEX on behalf of a running business.
Valid student credentials are mandatory. A student registration does not include a full virtualWOMEX account (no public virtualWOMEX profile and no access to the client database). If you are entitled to a student price, simply register online, check the box "student" (appears half way through the registration process) and send a copy of your student ID to registration@womex.com. Information on Media Registration
Journalists play a vital role in the dissemination of music and in keeping the important discourse on this art form alive. WOMEX acknowledges this by offering a reduced rate to journalistic media professionals, subject to approval.
If you are a delegate who will attend WOMEX first and foremost in your role as a journalist or as a professional involved in the editorial work of a music media company, you are invited to register for our special Media Rate. Simply check the "Media registration" box when you are entering your personal delegate data – about half way through the registration process – and send a copy of your press credentials to registration@womex.com. After confirmation from our communications department, you will be granted the discounted Media Rate registration price.
