CAHPA was created by Sébastien Bertrand in 2003 to promote his artistic work at the junction of traditional and modern music of French West Coast.

CAHPA promotes the following projects of Sébastien Bertrand, diatonic accordionist :

- NAHAS PROJECT (world music, France-Lebanon) : diatonic accordion and oud travel together on both sides of the sea, between West Coast of France and Lebanon.

- CHEMIN DE LA BELLE ETOILE (music and tales) : Sébastien Bertrand tells and plays his own personal experience, when in comes back in Lebanon in 2008, 35 years after his adoption. A text written in collaboration with the famous storyteller Yannick Jaulin.

- GRAND'DANSE CONNECTION CLUB (concert and dance) : An artistic experience at the junction of music, dance and videos. A great performance that invites audience to dance and discover what would be french traditional music if it was still played in nightclubs.

- THE ADVENTURES OF PRINCE ACHMED (cine-concert) : is a 1926 German animated fairytale film by Lotte Reiniger, considered as the oldest surviving animated feature film. 2 musicians (accordionist and beatboxer) and a hip hop dancer accompany this silent movie.

CAHPA organizes artistic activities for the NOMADE festival which takes place in Saint Jean de Monts every year at the end of May.
