After many years in international booking with the band Hotel Palindrone (AUT) in the summer of 2009 I founded the agency DIVERTED MUSIC based in Vienna/Austria expanded with Austrian and international artists. Cooperation with business partners like the UK based agency Frusion www.frusion.eu at diverted music we also have great links with the Austrian Cultural Forum and continue to expand our activities with future collaborations in mind.

CATCH-POP STRING-STRONG (Serbia/Kosovo/Austria) - The ability to build new forms from miscellaneous components, using wit and virtuosity as mortar, is a remarkable skill, a skill which Jelena Popran and Rina Kaçinari have honed to perfection: one is a Serbian, the other a Kosovo Albanian, and together the play Bach, traditional music from the Balkans or the Scottish highlands, pop songs, as well as own compositions resounding with a multitude of different influences, and beautifully so. In their music Catch-Pop String-Strong combine stories and interpretations from different places, eras and angles. Equipped with a cello, a viola, their voices and as much respect as necessary they build bridges between different cultures, across centuries and musical traditions, and they do it all with a light-footedness and natural ease that is simply amazing.


NETNAKISUM (Austria) - Netnakisum ist the German word for "traditional musician" spelled backwards. Netnakisum are a string-trio reversing expectations. Rooted in Austrian folk music they work their terrific musical way across the globe. From Mozart to Britney Spears and beyond ... all with a great sense of fun. And … all three have benefited from the highest classical education in music.
