company description
Rosazul is a music company created and managed by singer-songwriter Daniel Cros who named it with the title of one of his songs: La rosa azul (The blue rose). Based in the Poble Nou Area in Barcelona, 5 minutes away from the beach, the Company works in 4 areas:# Recording Studio
Started its activity in January 2004, standing out since the beginning as one of the best equipped and cosiest studio in Catalonia, hosting productions for Warner Music, Emi Music, Virgin France, Ibrahim Ferrer, Omar Sosa, Orishas, Vicente Amigo, Miguel Poveda, Paco Ibáñez and Kepa Junkera, among others.
# Concerts
Rather than a management or booking firm, we feel closer to a consultant agency, connecting artists and music programmers. The Company has programmed over 500 concerts and has organised thematic cycles for public institutions and Town Halls in Catalonia and programming concerts mostly around Spain but also in France, Belgium, Portugal, Croatia, Luxemburg, Switzerland, Morocco, Tunisia, Mexico and Malasia.
# Label/aggregator Services
Our label acts today mainly as a service to musicians and institutions to release their productions.
In 2005, we developed the first aggregator service in Spain, distributing today different independent labels and musicians catalogues to a wide net of digital music services worldwide.
# Promotion Services
Rosazul launched in 2009 its own music promo service, acting as a bridge between the music producer who needs to promote properly his music in Spain -a new album, a new tour- and the professional media who is in the hunt for new music contents.
# Music Fairs
The company regularly attends the most important music industry Exhibitions:
Womex, Babel Med, Apap, Bis, Popkomm, Midem, Mercartes.
