"plaene"-records is an independent record label, founded in 1961. "World Music" from Latin America, Israel, Russia, Greece, France, Scotland and Ireland is our essential program component. The political songs in the German language constitues another area of plaene's production, represented among others by Hannes Wader. The program is enriched by "The King of Klezmer", Giora Feidman, the Belcanto legend Misha Alexandrovich as well as the "Mauthausen-Zyklus" from Mikis Theodorakis. Latest releases have been from
