Cesar Lacerda is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He was born in Diamantina, Minas Gerais, and in his childhood began his studies in music, at the school founded by his mother. It was precisely there, through the varied flow of information absorbed at home and at school that his experience with the music could become more widespread. Among the sonatas, serenades and choros played by his mother on the piano and the samba, folk and romantic songs heard by his father, the taste for diversity in music was born to him.
Later, as a teenager, he moved to Belo Horizonte and then to Rio de Janeiro. During this period, he could enhance his experience of hybridization in music. He has performed choro and samba and played with jazz musicians. He also opened pieces of contemporary classical music and has scored films and shows with his original work.
In his songs, Cesar Lacerda talks about the world, his issues, his relationship with life, always represented on his work. And it is through this relationship that gives rise to the show "Porque da voz", the debut of the artist, bringing his songs.
