Lavoisier responds to Patricia and Roberto's inner need of making music, and homesickness, while living in Berlin. It's set to find new dynamics in popular music, not through traditions' reinventions, yet addressing some of its elements, assertive, fierce and minimalistic: carefully selected poetry, Patricia's warm, expressive/impressive vocals and Robert's robust, precise and detailed guitar strumming.
Since 2013 they moved back to Portugal, where they have been developing their career with success. Their work has been presented in Germany, Portugal, Italy, Denmark, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Hungary, France, Belgium, Brazil, Argentina and Senegal. They participated in several Festivals, composed for theater plays and made collaborations with visual artists. Their discography it’s composed by “Polifonias Singulares Vol.1”, Lavoisier with the Cantadeiras do Campo do Gerês (2023), ''Aí'' (2022), “Miguel Torga por Lavoisier: Viagem a um Reino Maravilhoso” (2019), ‘’É Teu” (2017), “Projeto 675” (2014).
