Ludo’s Jazz Trio
Ludovic Bulcourt Jazz Accordeonist around the world
Ludovic "Ludo" BULCOURT was born on July 24, 1965 in Charleville-Mézières (Ardennes).

He studied accordion from the age of 12, and at the age of 15, he won first prize in the excellence category competition in Rotterdam at the European accordion championship. At the age of 16, jazz was a quick hit through tango with the discovery of Astor Piazzola.

As a professional accordionist, he is a composer, virtuoso and inventive.
At the mercy of his encounters, his game is refined and varies: the style is baroque, nervous, powerful.

His universe linked to his Hungarian and Gypsy roots inspires him a music "as old as the world", but surprisingly contemporary.
He created a new style, the "Tzigajazz", a music from traveler peoples, "citizens of the world".

He has surrounded himself with talented musicians like Jerry Edwards, Benoit Vanderstraeten, Ninine Garcia, Francis Lockwood, Gwenael Micault, ...

He has founded and worked with several bands such as Ludo's Electric Jazz, Ludo's Jazz Acoustic, Jazz Accordion Duet and Que Pasa.

Current projects:

Creation and jazz training of the new Ludo's Jazz Trio with Daniel Balen on the drums and Fernand "Nino" Ferer on the double bass.

Development and creation for this trio in the influence of Bill Evans
(Demo CD available from the live concert of September 3, 2016 at "Jazz O Lac" in St-Vincent-de-Graon Manouche Jazz Festival).

A first opus to come for this new trio in 2019

In addition to Ludo's Jazz Trio, Ludovic also performs in SOLO
