Funk and Soul with Latin-rhythms
Mirta, born in Cuba, started at a very early age to sing in many
bands. After moving to Cologne/Germany, she has been the
singer for Brother Resistance during all of his European tours.
Also she sang with Bantu, the Nigerian/German hiphop group,
with Zoe as well as with Jan Delay. Currently she is working on
her debut-album with wonderful, very spiritual yet positive
songs.
The CD is produced by Guido Craveiro, who worked
with Chaka Khan, De La Soul, Bootsy Collins. Her
songs are a beautiful melting of Funk, Soul with
Caribbean influences.
