My name is Thom Wolke and I'm once again coming to join you at WOMEX, but this time with a different hat on. I'll be writing a story for the U.S. publication Blues Music Magazine, an overview about the conference for readers of one of the leading Blues Music pubications in the country.
I'm also looking to video tape interviews for my new YouTube channel, FolkUSAmericana. Those interviews are focused on how the music business has changed since you got involved, how those changes affected you personally, and how you adapted. Please note, I'm much more interested in speaking with those working behind the scenes (ie. managers, presenters, record company people), moreso than actual performing artists. I don't rule out speaking to leading musicians in their field, but my priority is on those running things.
