Krassi Jeliazkov is a veteran in the Bulgarian ethno music genre.
The “Balkan Horses Band”, created by Jeliazkov has gained both national and international recognition. The success and accomplishments of the “Balkan Horses Band” led Jeliazkov to create yet another ethno-fusion band - the "Montuno_BG” project, which stands behind the idea to create and integrate the traditional Bulgarian folklore with modern jazz, harmony, and fusion elements and sounds. In his compositions, Jeliazkov elaborates on a combination of new means of expression and the usage of traditional instruments all within the Bulgarian Folklore genre. This can be seen through his use of various intertwined styles, phrases, jazz improvisations, melodies, rhythmic motifs, and musical form.

The first album of the Montuno_BG is titled My Burning Heart, and includes 14 original tunes. The songs on this album are characterized by innovative harmonization, exciting improvisations, and unexpected interludes all within the Bulgarian folklore genre! Last but not least, two of the compositions featured in this album are by ex-guitarist of the band "TANGRA" - John-Valeri Milovanski. This album was made possible with the contribution of the National Culture Fund and Musicautor.
