AfroCaribbean Sunday is a cultural initiative jointly proposed by Conexión AfriCana – AfriCan Connection & The Paper Club in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in its common desire to offer the public of the Canary Islands an artistic offer of high quality, diverse and fun, a window to the plurality Cultural of the Canary Islands and the World.
At the same time, the event aims to provide a well-deserved opportunity to be produced in the Canary Islands famous artists who have invested and traveled from other continents to participate in the WOMEX held in the Canary Islands from October 24 to 28, 2018 and to appear in the archipelago .
Thus the Canary Islands in its role as multicultural crossroads of the Atlantic will receive a new selection of skis and confirmed artists from Africa and the Caribbean who will offer small live sessions of their best creations, 150 minutes of live music, interlaced with Afro-Caribbean classics with our local DJ, Esteban Pérez.
