Welcome to Kinshasa " La Belle ", the Democratic Republic of Congo's capital and Africa's musical heart. Rumban reigns, since the dawn of time . The legacy passed on from generation to generation. The birthplace Jose Pereelanga. At age 16 he had his first public gigs and was soon discovered by the Congolese music elite . MADILU SYSTEM (known as Africa's most beautiful voice) was first out and picked him up in his band for a six-month Africa tour. This was followed by collaborations with artists like PAPA Wemba and Nyoka Jossart LONGO. Pere Elanga musical training was completed by entering the ZAIKO LANGA LANGA , Congo's national orchestra and a well-known hotbed for young talent . Years in Zaiko brought with it a number of recordings both in Africa and Europe, as well as extensive European tours and gigs at several prestigious venues and festivals ( Zenith de Paris, Elysee Montmartre , Paris , Madeleine de Bruxelles, Festival Couleur Cafe / Belgium, Festival Euwarden / Holland etc.). In recent years, Pereelanga expanded its roster by creating music for contemporary dance (including the show Festival de mensonges at Jazz de la Villette and the Avignon Festival, France) and collaborate with the reputed Paris rappers ESKADRILLE .
