Pauliina Lerche does concerts with "one woman-orchestra". She plays
the accordion, kantele and she sings songs composed by herself. Her music is strongly influenced by Karelian, (Eastern Finnish) tradition. Pauliina is a founding member of Värttinä. Since a little girl she has been playing, singing and composing music in several orchestras. She is quite an accordion virtuouso and concerts are mesmerizing journeys to the most impressive and touching parts of the Finnish ethnic music tradition. She is one of the new generation of professionals from Sibelius Academy Folkmusic Department. Pauliina performs in intimate solo concerts but also with the band. (3-5 additional members).
