Cuca Roseta is the new star of Fado. Following on from the success of her first record, which was produced by Gustavo Santaolalla (winner of several Oscars and Grammys) the Fado singer has once again managed to surprise with an impressive collection of original songs, most of which she penned herself.
Her success continues to grow and solidify, bringing with it an ever larger forum for which to showcase her art and talent not only in Portugal but also beyond underpinned, as ever, by great musicians.
Cuca Roseta is a singular beauty, this beauty that can be found in her voice, in her repertoire and in the way she throws herself at the art of singing Fado.
At a time when Fado is considered to be an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Mankind, Cuca Roseta is proof that Fado continues to live, respecting its purest tradition whilst simultaneously adding a touch of modernity that the times require and the audience demands.

Her next record will be produced by the multi-talented director, journalist and composer Nelson Motta (Brazil) (creator of the Bossanova) and will include the presence of prestigious world musicians, amongst many others invited. The launch is scheduled for March 2015.
