Royal Bermuda, hailing from Oeiras, Portugal, is fruit of a long-date friendship between two friends, who share the passion for Music, the Guitar, and the Bohemian lifestyle, and have the will to create something which would fill a void in the musical scene they believe exists. In January 2019 their first EP "Paraíso Cafajeste" was published, which presentation tour brought them to stages such as Casa da Música, Serralves, Teatro Ibérico, and Musicbox, and to festivals such as Boom Festival, Soam as Guitarras, Reverence Sons no Património, among others. In March and April 2022, respectivelly, they debuted the singles "À Antiga" and "Nha Preta", prenouncing the arrival of the long-promised album "Sempiterna", to be launched on the 30th of September 2022 and followed by a presentation 2022/23 Tour where they will be accompanied by the percussionist Duarte Loureiro.
Within their music many influences are felt and heard, making it difficult to define in musical genres their compositions; Alas, a term is proposed, named "Exótica Saudade" - roughly translated to "The exotic longing for someone or something". Sung by two wooden nymphs who were born into this world by the handcraft of André Parafina and Diogo Esparteiro with the purpose of humming lost and forgotten souls' chants who loiter around golden plains and eternal bays infused with nostalgia and Tradition. Without any prejudice to new horizons, they look for humbly paying homage to all of the universal sources of Inspiration and the most noble act of them all, the Creation.
Royal Bermuda brings the intimacy and proximity that is felt in secret musical get-togethers and in “Casas de Fado”, long after closing hours. Tranquilly and with the company of a bottle of wine, they embrace the covenant of causing the disremembering of earthly problems, taking whoever listens with them into a most vivid dream, where there is no spoken word to shorten the way nor to create controversial opinions. Under the service of the Music itself, they propose a soundtrack to the present collective, which will serve each one in a unique and personal way.

Os Royal Bermuda, Provenientes de Oeiras, Portugal, são fruto de uma amizade entre dois amigos de longa data, que partilham a paixão pela Música, a Boémia e a Guitarra, ambicionam criar algo novo que julgam fazer falta no panorama musical. Em Janeiro de 2019 lançam o seu primeiro EP, “Paraíso Cafajeste”, cuja tour de apresentação nacional os levou a palcos como a Casa da Música, Serralves, Teatro Ibérico, MusicBox e a festivais como Soam as Guitarras, Sons no Património, Festival Reverence, Boom Festival entre outros. Em Março e Maio de 2022 lançam os singles "À Antiga" e "Nha Preta" que prenunciam a chegada do prometido álbum "SEMPITERNA", estará disponível dia 30 de Setembro e será seguida de uma tour de apresentação em 2022/2023, acompanhados pelo Percussionista Duarte Loureiro.
Apesar de serem sentidas muitas influências, é difícil definir em géneros musicais existentes a sua Música, surgindo assim o termo - Exótica Saudade. Esta é cantada por duas ninfas de madeira e corda, que vindo ao Mundo pela própria mão de André Parafina e Diogo Esparteiro, não podiam senão trautear cânticos de almas perdidas que tanto deambulam por searas douradas como naufragam em eternas baías, entoando sempre embriagadas de Tradição e nostalgia. Sem nunca deixar de mirar novos horizontes, procuram homenagear humildemente todas as fontes universais que caracterizam a Divina Inspiração e o consequente nobríssimo acto que dela advém - a Criação.
Os Royal Bermuda levam para palco a intimidade e proximidade vivida em tertúlias secretas que acontecem escondidas um pouco por toda a parte, à semelhança das casas de fado depois do horário de fecho. De forma descontraída e acompanhados de uma garrafa de vinho, envergam a séria missão de fazer esquecer os problemas terrenos, deixando quem os escuta livres para um sonho bem acordado, onde não existem palavras para estreitar o caminho nem para criar opiniões controversas. Ao serviço da Música procuram criar uma banda sonora para o colectivo presente, que serve de forma muito pessoal e única cada indivíduo.
