Mediterrània, The Folk Market is part of the platform of artistic fairs in which the map of performance markets are structured that are set up by the Department of Culture, along with other events such as the Fira de Teatre al Carrer de Tàrrega and the Mercat de Música Viva de Vic.
Mediterrània has an interdisciplinary nature. The fair presents new artistic creations inspired by the cultural traits that are typical of Catalonia, the Catalan Countries and all the regions of the Mediterranean.
