Farruquito has been swimming in the purest flamenco since he was born, surrounded by his mother, the dancer La Farruca, his father, the singer El Moreno and his grandfather El Farruco, who set the incomparable style of the family.
Farruco made his debuts in the international stage in Broadway when he was 5 years old with the show “Flamenco Puro”, sharing sstage with the most well-known flamenco artists, where we could find his own family. Before the age of 12, he took part in to movies Camarón nuestro and Flamenco, directed Carlos Saura.
In 1997 Farruquito is only 15 when his grandfather dies, but he assumes the responsibility of perpetuate the family. He starts running the family’s fate and creates his first show.
He presents Farruquito Family » in 2001 and Alma Vieja in 2003, shows which have been well awarded in Spain and had a resounding success among the critics and the public in the USA.
Since 2003, the public could discover Farruco, the younger brother…
