Anamaría Tijoux Merino (born June 12, 1977), better known as Ana Tijoux or Anita Tijoux (French pronunciation: [ti'ʒu]), is a Franco-Chilean singer, musician, rapper, lyricist and songwriter. She gained recognition in Latin America as the female MC of the hip-hop group Makiza during the late 1990s, generalizing her success following her second solo album, 1977. Her music dialogues with the sound of hip hop, merged.

Feminist and activist. In her letters she denounces the social and cultural deficiencies and stands up for women’s rights and against gender violence. In 2014 she highlighted in her album Vengo la canción «Antipatriarca». She has worked in various countries in Latin America, Europe and the United States.
