Electrifying, innovative and ecstatic, Káustika is an original band from Águeda (Portugal). Composed of musicians trained in various areas of music, Káustika is a project that fuses various sounds and styles in a unique and innovative way.

The mixture of schools, genres and musical languages culminates in the creation of two shows, with two striking and distinctive styles: Punk Filarmónico, a itinerant show designed for street performances, and Transe Sinfónico, a show for concert halls and big outdoor stages.

"Super Nova" is the new album of originals by KÁUSTIKA. This 2021 creation travels through world sonorities receiving strong influence from the music of Cuba. In this record, KÁUSTIKA presents itself hot, bold and dancing, with a vibrant repertoire thought for the public space. The mixture of sounds that characterizes this record, results in the creative fusion of Latin American music with erudite music, and there is also room for all the influence of jazz.
"Super Nova" gathers the themes of the band's new show, retrieves sounds from its genesis and mirrors the influence of different cultures and musical trends in the compositions.
The musical fusion continues to mark the band's path since the release of the EP "Punk Filarmónico" (2011) and "Transe Sinfónico" (2015).
