The Cabo Verde native, known from performing with CESARIA EVORA for 11 years, is currently touring with Madonna on her new MadameX theater tour!
Inspired by living in Lisbon, Miroca's home town, and her admiration of the Barefoot Diva, her new album is heavily influenced by Cabo Verde, Lisbon's fado and more Lusophone sounds.
Miroca - celebrating 20 years of career before hitting 40 - is thrilled to share his skills as multi-instrumentalist and singer with the Queen of Pop and her audience, during this special, intimate theater tour!
You'll find Miroca playing loads of great instruments, from congas to darbuka and guitar.
As member of the Latin Percussion and REMO family he has the best instruments for the challenge.
