Formed by Lio, Lay and Machado, Tuyo is a sound tour through pop, house, synthpop and afropop in the mixtures between electronic beat and acoustic textures. The songs are invitations to the audience, who immerse themselves in the band's universe involved in the balance between deep lyrics, full of feeling and pleasant sing-along choruses.
Tuyo's work begins with their debut EP, Pra Doer (2017), the albums Pra Curar (2018) and Chegamos Sozinhos em Casa Vol. 1, Vol. 2 (2021), the musical documentary series Fragmentos and the new EP Depois da Festa.
The album Chegamos Sozinhos em Casa Vol. 1 was responsible for taking Tuyo to the Latin Grammy, in the category "Best Contemporary Pop Album in Portuguese Language", and even had a nomination for the Multishow award as "Song of the Year", with the song "Sonho da Lay" .
The trio collects remarkable passages through major festivals, including Primavera Sound Barcelona (Spain), Colors of Ostrava (Czech Republic), South by Southwest (SXSW), in the United States, for three consecutive years, in 2021/22/23. It even earned a mention in The New York Times by critic Jon Pareles, who rated Tuyo's show as one of the 15 best performances in the first year. In Brazil, they performed at LollaPalooza in march 2023, and release a new EP "Depois da Festa". The band has a new album schedule to be released in March 2024.
