Sara Cruz, the talented singer and songwriter, releases the single “The Show,” a vibrant love song wrapped in folk and pop sounds, which featured the precious collaboration of producer and artist Cristóvam.
Following “Day or Two” and “Grass Is Greener,” “The Show” is the third single from Sara Cruz’s highly anticipated debut album, an artist recognized as New Talent FNAC, winner of the “NiT New Talent” contest, and one of the artists selected for the “House of Talents,” a prestigious documentary from Yamaha Music Europe.
In the lyrics of this new song, Sara Cruz explores the imperfections and the importance of someone surrendering to love despite the fears that may arise. A combination of naivety and assertiveness that reflects the authentic and personal way the artist writes her own songs.
Sara Cruz reveals that the new album is being meticulously prepared: “I’m being very conscious with the process. It will be here forever, and I want to listen to it one day and know exactly what was going on in this phase of my life and what my universe looked like.” “The Show” is just a beautiful chapter of a great story yet to come.
In addition to the release of the new single, Sara Cruz has just announced her participation in the 40th Maré de Agosto Festival, which takes place at Praia Formosa, in Santa Maria, Azores, on August 22nd, 23rd, and 24th. A native of the stunning island of São Miguel, her music is also a reflection of the incredible beauty of her homeland and what it’s like to live on an island in the middle of the Atlantic. And on March 22nd and 23rd, Sara Cruz will be part of the group of ten selected names from the 28th OuTonalidades Groups Grant for the showcase program, taking place between the Auditorium and the Café-Concerto of CAA – Centro de Artes de Águeda.
