Awarded as Colombia's Best Electronic Act, MITÚ is the Psychedelic Techno From The Jungle live act duo formed by Julián Salazar (ex-Bomba Estéreo) on synths and machines, Franklin Tejedor from Palenque on percussion.
Its music is considered to be prioneer avantgarde Electronic from Latin America. MITÚ has released 5 LP's: Potro (2012), Balnear (2014), Cosmus (2017), Los Ángeles (2018) and the new album TANDEM (2019).
Back in 2014, MITÚ performed at WOMEX Showcase in Cardiff. In the last years, MITÚ has toured several times all over Latin America in festivals like Lollapalooza Chile, Lollapalooza Argentina, Estéreo Picnic and Sónar in Colombia, Bahidorá, Nrmal and Trópico in México, Virada Cultural and Midem LatAm in Brazil, among many others.
Since 2017, MITÚ has toured Europe 5 times, highlighting performances at festivals like ADE (NL), Mad Cool (ES), BIME (ES), Fusion (DE), Gather (SE), TransMusicales (FR), MaMA (FR), Womad (UK), plus several clubs and venues all over Germany, France, Sweden, Denmark, Spain and the Netherlands.
In November 2018, MITÚ for NEW ORDER their sold out show at the mythic Alexandra Palace in London, performing in front of an audience of 10.000.
