The Sexican offers once again a rambling tonal circus, with sharp political lyrics being served with a thirst for life and an energy that is contagious!
The musical offspring is World Rock with elements of Mariachi, Gipsy and Balkan tonality. After a successful series of concerts in 2012, The Sexican experienced a warm welcome from both European and Central American live audiences.
The critically acclaimed debut album 'The Summoning' is now followed-up by a second studio album 'Conscription' releasing May 1st 2013 on all major digital platforms. First single 'Gringo Vendetta' has already been released on iTunes at World Music Expo '12 along with a complimentary music video available on YouTube etc.
The new album 'Conscription' contains a wide variety of mixed styles and themes - Mariachi trumpets, Klezmer themes, 30's style horn section Swing, Django-inspired Gipsy guitars, fast Polka, 60's Surf and a drunken sailor Waltz!
Guests appearing on the album are some of the most influencial characters from the Scandinavian World music scene. Queen of Klezmer, Channe Nussbaum (Klezmofobia), Ognjen Curcic (Tako Lako) and Annika Jessen (Dánjal) are amongst those on the guest list.
