Jotappe e Quarteto São Jorge is a Brazilian Music band that mixes tropical grooves and classic festive Brazilian music. Leaded by the charismatic singer and songwriter Jotappe, musician from São Paulo, who lived in Brasilia and in Rio de Janeiro, and now back to Sao Paulo for about six years. The repertoire of the Quartet São Jorge is composed by copyright songs that are already loved by people during their shows, and also the band entertains the audience with the sound of other great Brazilian artists, as Jorge Ben Jor, Caetano Veloso, Tim Maia, Novos Baianos, Gilberto Gil, Nação Zumbi, Alceu Valença, among others. The band is recognized in parties in several cities of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Brasilia. Currently the band is preparing a new album EP in digital platforms. The group's name is a tribute to the warrior saint St. George of Cappadocia. The main feature of the Quartet is a musical irreverence, and the high spirits in a sound atmosphere that appeals to lovers full of tropical swing from Brazil.
