Michael Messer is a master of innovation in the roots music scene, and is noted as one of the best acoustic slide guitarists on the planet. His recent work has included very modern sounds, incorporating DJ decks in his live band. Last album (Second Mind 2003) was voted best album of the year by the International Guitar Federation. Now signed to Cooking Vinyl Records, Michael will release a new album to the UK in February 2006, then will look to release in other countries later in the year, with touring activity planned to support the album.
