Folk_ME - Folk Music Education for Future Generations is an innovative education project, which targets public education. The project's main product is a newly developed digital toolkit that can integrate traditions into a broader context creatively in high school education. This project provides a solution to save the disappearing European Folk heritage inspired by the Polyphony project's research and online archive.
The methodology integrates international educational approaches to help the toolkits extensively wide usage developed by Fórum a Népművészetért (HU), Sibelius Academy (FI), Lviv National Musical Academy named after Mykola Lysenko (UA), MTA BTK Institute for Musicology (HU), and Piranha Arts (GER). The results will be presented by the main partners of the project, followed by a discussion moderated by the European Music Council.
